Whenever I Speak in Front of Many People, I Feel I’ve Got the Wrong Door

This piece brings together several scenes written for different guided visits that had the good fortune of being created for the inauguration of theatres and spaces which had been abandoned or closed for far too long — among them the Factory of Stories Museum – Rice, in Estarreja, premiered on 18 June 2022; the Oliveira de Azeméis Municipal Theatre, on 28 October 2023; and the Lousã Municipal Theatre, on 23 September 2024.

Other scenes were adapted and written later on — perhaps to be used for the inauguration of new theatres. Each scene is autonomous, but they can also be grouped together. Their order follows no fixed sequence, so they can be staged with different relationships and dramaturgical tensions between them.
